ESPN Analyst Jason Whitlock Feels Duped By Documentary Does Not Like Green Eggs and Ham Sam I Am

May 17, 2014

“I think it’s very contradictory, and I’m someone who supported Michael Sam and understood the importance of his involvement in professional football; but he has certainly called into question to me everything about him, including what we saw on draft day,” he said. “Everything seems orchestrated now. We didn’t know that there was a documentary TV show already in the process of being filmed and now we do. Now we judge everything in that light and we have to wonder, was it genuine emotion? Or is this a part of a reality TV show?”

Whitlock pointed out that it seems like Sam is taking advantage of his position and it’s evident by him selling  his own merchandise online. “I feel duped. Again, he’s got a website up selling t-shirts – it’s a merchandise store. This all looks like a cash grab more than a guy that wants to be a great football player as he has said. Whitlock also admitted that if he was a Rams decision-maker, he’d consider cutting Sam immediately. Sam I Am going for the green.

Oprah Comes Out of Obscurity To Promote Two- Hour Favorite Things List Special, Here Is A Digital Quarter

November 3, 2012

Oprah Winfrey fans will be happy to know that, after a two-year hiatus, the popular Favorite Things list — which caused her audience members to scream, cry, and/or faint upon its reveal — is making a comeback. On November 18, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) will run a two-hour special devoted to the product roundup. But Winfrey’s choices have already received some harsh criticism. Vanity Fair magazine has taken issue with some of the items on the list, like including a $450 bladeless fan , calling it “obscure and realistically unnecessary.”  Commenter’s’ reactions were mixed, with one disappointed reader lamenting, “$88 for four bags of popcorn. Insane!”

Oprah comes out of obscurity on Oprah Network to push favorite things list on 2- hour special. Needs to add digital quarter to make call to someone who virtually cares.

Oprah, The Ultimate Politician, Must Own Up Will Not Publicly Support Obama In 2012, FWFF

April 28, 2011

When talk show queen Oprah Winfrey announced she was publicly supporting Barack Obama for president back in 2008, she shocked many TV insiders who had always thought it best for talk show hosts to keep their political views to themselves.

Now as the 2012 election process has officially begun, sources tell me this time around Oprah’s support will be much more private.

“For 2012, much has changed for Oprah. She now has own cable channel called OWN that has been struggling to find an audience — she isn’t going to do anything to alienate them,” a TV insider tells me. “Unlike in 2008, when a drop in ratings didn’t matter as much for the queen of TV, Oprah is now fighting every day to get people to tune into OWN.”

As much as Oprah may still love President Obama and may support him behind the scenes, do not expect to see the same public support you saw in 2008. As my source puts it, “Helping a friend keep the most important job in the world is great, but making sure her OWN network thrives is now her priority.”

Oprah and Barrack FWFF. Fair weather friends forever.
