Obama Names Jefferey Zients Of Bain Capital To Fix Obamacare Website, John Stewarts Bain Trauma

October 27, 2013

How is this for irony? After spending 2012 scourging Mitt Romney as a heartless capitalist for working at Bain & Co., President Obama is now betting on another former Bain consultant, Jeffrey Zients, to rescue his trouble-plagued website.

Obama named Zients, currently the acting director of the Office of Management and Budget, to lead the “tech surge” to address the many problems with website. “Jeff will provide short-term advice, assessments and recommendations,” Press Secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday.

Zients previously worked at the management consulting firm Bain & Co., from August 1988 to June 1990. This was the same company that got Romney, who joined Bain in 1991, labeled as a “vulture capitalist” during the election.

Harry Reid Would Not Confirm Mitt Romney As A Dog Catcher, Secretary Of Treasurer, Maybe

July 12, 2012

President Barack Obama and his Democratic allies have launched a sustained attack this week over Mitt Romney’s refusal to release additional tax returns, suggesting the Republican nominee is trying to “hide” something from the American people.

On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid suggested Romney would never win Senate confirmation for a Cabinet position because “he won’t show anybody his tax returns.” But as Politico reports, Reid took that criticism a step further on Thursday, saying that Romney couldn’t even win confirmation to be a “dog catcher.”

“He not only couldn’t be confirmed as a Cabinet secretary, he couldn’t be confirmed as a dog catcher, because a dog catcher … you’re at least going to want to look at his income tax returns,” Reid said.

Eye View Business, Disrespected Etch A Sketch Has Boost In Sales, Could Create New Jobs

March 23, 2012

Pushed to the bottom of the toy box by video games and other high-tech gadgets, Etch A Sketch is suddenly drawing lots of attention, thanks to a gaffe that has shaken up the race for the White House.

Ohio Art Co., maker of the classic baby boomer toy, is sending a big box of Etch A Sketches to the presidential campaigns to say thanks for the publicity and a boost in sales.

It all started when Mitt Romney strategist Eric Fehrnstrom was asked Wednesday about the candidate’s politics now versus next fall, and he likened the campaign to an Etch A Sketch: “You can kind of shake it up, and we start all over again.”

Boost in Etch A Shetch sales could create new jobs.

Romney Blasts Obama Maintains Euro Solutions Not Good For US

February 13, 2011

Mitt Romney got in several jabs at President Obama and emphasized his business credentials in addressing an audience of conservative activists in Washington Friday morning.

His speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) hinted he’ll run for president in 2012.

The former governor of Massachusetts prefaced how he would handle the economy with the phrase, “if I were to decide to run for president,” which drew cheers from the crowd. Romney, who ran in the 2008 GOP presidential primary, is widely expected to make another run for the White House.

While other possible candidates talked about repealing healthcare in their CPAC speeches, Romney barely mentioned it.

It came up when he accused Obama and “liberals” of looking to “European solutions” to the economic crisis by increasing government spending and moving for a “takeover” of healthcare.

“It does not work there and it will never work here,” Romney said. “We are an exceptional land.”

Mitt believes not all  European ideas work in the US…
