Ask The Eye, Christmas Payback Gift Because Glitter Is The Herpes Of Craft Store Supplies

December 8, 2010

Dear Eye View

My brother has two girls, one 5 and one 7. I’ve always gotten them Christmas gifts. My brother never thanks me. Last year, I put quite a bit of thought into their gifts and wrapped them and sent them, and no one replied, not  my brother or his wife. All of them are even on my Facebook page, so it wouldn’t be hard to just type out “thanks.” I’ve e-mailed and called before to the parents and the kids to see if they received the gifts and if they liked them. I usually get an, “Oh yeah, thanks.” I feel upset, and I don’t know if I’m just being sensitive or if I have a right to feel this way. I also don’t know what to do about this year. I thought about buying  gift cards—the kids can go to the Web site and choose what they want. I mean, I want to get them something. I don’t know how to handle this situation.

Dear Pissed

I understand your pain. It is time to send out the Christmas payback gift. Your nieces would like nothing better than the Barbie Glitterizer, a  Barbie stripper crack whore doll. It will teach your nieces the value of glitter and pasties and give your brother the gift that keeps on giving. Because glitter is the herpes of craft store supplies. Also tell your brother to blow it out his glitterizer…..Hope this helps.
