No Inaugural Tickets Allowed On Craigslist, Kevin Federline Fans Upset

January 17, 2013

Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York announced Thursday that eBay and Craigslist have promised to try to stop scalpers from making a mint by reselling tickets to President Barack Obama’s inauguration this weekend. “eBay will enforce a policy not to allow these listings on their site, while Craigslist employees will monitor their site and remove these listings,” the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies said in a statement. Schumer is a co-chair.

Thanks To Craigslist Education Costs Parents An Arm And A Leg

March 1, 2011

An anonymous parent in the Boston area recently posted an ad on Craigslist offering to sell their body parts to pay off their child’s student loans.

The ad detailed a person 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with “organs in working order.” The writer offered blood, plasma, kidneys in place of the $200,000 in education bills.

My Fox Boston reports,”Use my body for anything legal, or medically experimental,” the advert said. “Simply pay off all of my children’s student loans ($200,000) and you can use me anyway you need.”

Ask The Eye, You Could Go Either Way,But Act Like A Man

August 2, 2010

Dear Eye View. I have a rather unusual problem, and I don’t feel I have anywhere to turn but you. I’m a 33-year-old man who’s been married for seven years. The issue is, I am bi-sexual and have known so for quite some time. My quandary is, about a month ago I responded to a posting on Craigslist. It was from an older gentleman who, like myself, is bi and was looking for some discrete fun. In responding to the ad, I sent a faceless/headless picture of myself without a shirt on. He responded back to me with some pictures that were a bit more graphic and a phone number. Upon seeing the number, I became immediately undone. It was the cell phone number of my wife’s dad—my father-in-law! Once I realized it was him, I never responded back to him. I received several e-mails subsequently asking me what was going on and if I was still interested.

However, not only did he e-mail me from his personal e-mail address, stupidly, he used the joint one with my mother-in-law. Fast-forward a few weeks. My mother-in-law was checking e-mail and somehow found the exchange between my father-in-law and myself. Obviously, and justifiably, she has become hysterical. She found the e-mail that I sent to him (from an anonymous e-mail address) that had my picture. It gets worse; she told my wife and her sister and brother, and they are trying to figure out who this guy is who “seduced” dad. At this point, I am freaking out as my wife is wanting to see my picture, but her mother has not shown it to her yet. Do I bite the bullet and let the cat out of the bag that I am the two-home home wrecker, or should I let my wife and in-laws continue to play detective? I feel such guilt as my wife cries on my shoulder as she tells me the latest developments every day.

What to do…

Dear What to do..

You have really f’ed this up.. I am afraid the only way to save face on this is act like a man…. kill your wife before she finds out.

Hope this helps.

Faisal Shahzad Attended Craigslist University

May 5, 2010

WASHINGTON (AP) – The suspect in the failed Times Square bombing told authorities he trained at a terrorism camp in Pakistan, officials said Tuesday as they worked to unravel the events leading up to the nearly catastrophic attack.

Faisal Shahzad was arrested late Monday and charged with trying to blow up an SUV in crowded Times Square on Saturday evening. Attorney General Eric Holder said Shahzad was cooperating with authorities and would face terrorism and weapons of mass destruction charges.

Holder said Shahzad had provided valuable information, but the attorney general would not elaborate.

One law enforcement official said Shahzad told the FBI he trained in Pakistan. A second said the training was believed to be in the lawless tribal region of Waziristan, where the Pakistani Taliban operates with near impunity. He also received additional training at Craigslist U. Pakistan campus..
