The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission announced a unanimous vote Tuesday to rename Little Rock National Airport after the state’s (and country’s) famous former first couple.
“Bill and Hillary Clinton not only devoted years of service to Arkansas, but have served the nation as a two-term President, and as First Lady, U.S. Senator, and Secretary of State – that’s a legacy of which all Arkansans can be proud,” Jim Dailey, the commission’s chairman, said in a statement on the airport’s website.
Bill Clinton is excited and already working on ideas for the Hillbilly cigar shop.
