Zimmerman Found Not Guilty Another White Hispanic On Deck

After more than 15 hours of deliberating, the six-woman jury in the trial of George Zimmerman has found the neighborhood watchman not guilty. Zimmerman was accused of profiling, pursuing, and fatally shooting Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teen, in February 2012. Zimmerman, 29, could have faced life in prison if convicted of second-degree murder. The jury also had the option to consider the lesser charge of manslaughter, which could have meant up to 30 years in prison.

Aaron Hernandez Tells Police Not To Over Analyze His Tattoos

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez told Bristol County correction officers that he has no gang affiliations, according to Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, who spoke to the Boston Heraldon Monday. Per the Herald, Hernandez was examined over the weekend by officers looking for tattoos that would indicate gang involvement.Hodgson told the Boston Herald that the review of tattoos is a normal procedure and investigators have not reached any definitive conclusions regarding Hernandez.

Hernandez was quoted as saying not to read too much into his tattoos.
