Gore Posts Second Reason To Lower The Sea Level

October 31, 2012

While it did not take long it was expected. Former vice president Al Gore put  out a statement on his blog on Tuesday and blamed the  intensity of Hurricane Sandy on “global warming pollution.”

Gore concluded at the end of his blog that “dirty energy makes dirty  weather.”Hurricane Sandy is a disturbing sign of things to come. We must heed this  warning and act quickly to solve the climate crisis. Dirty energy makes dirty  weather.

Gore blames the climate for raising sea levels while blaming higher altitude for Obamas debate performance.

Facebook Censors Navy SEALs to Protect Obama on Benghazi-Gate Facebook Finally Dislikes Too Much Information

October 31, 2012

Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.

The message was contained in a meme which demonstrated how Obama had relied on the SEALS when he was ready to let them get Osama bin Laden, and how he had turned around and denied them when they called for backup on Sept 11.

Facebook pulled the re-posted meme down within 7 or 8 hours and suspended the SOS account for 24 hours.

In other words, Facebook put the Navy SEALS in timeout in order to shield Obama.

Facebook at last dislikes too much information.

A Month Ago Polls Indicate Election Is Over, Now We Are Suposed To Ignore Polls. The Old Switcheroo.

October 30, 2012

One would think that Gallup, Pew, Rasmussen, every sufficiently wealthy news organization and anyone else interested in conducting a poll would be familiar with the basics of the American electoral system. Why they all insist on continuing to waste precious ink on national polls, then, is completely mystifying.

Gallup’s latest poll of registered voters reports that former Gov. Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama are tied nationally, 48 to 48 percent. Gallup’s latest poll of likely voters, based on a complex set of assumptions about voter turnout, has Romney leading Obama by 5 percentage points, 51 to 46.

At this stage in the election, like any sufficiently close election, the fate of the candidates rests with fewer than a half-dozen states. popular vote. Most stakeholders care only about the likelihood of victory in the Electoral College, and a national poll is not very useful at this point.

This is why most prognosticators consider Obama to have a far higher chance of victory than the national polls would suggest.

A month ago election was over according to polls. Now polls are a waste of time. The Old Switcheroo.

PETA Wants Sign To Memorialize Fish Killed In Truck Crash, Bass Pro Shops Support Their Signage On Location

October 30, 2012

An Irvine resident is requesting that the city install a sign to memorialize the hundreds of fish killed in a traffic crash in early October as they were being taken to Irvine Ranch Market. In the letter, Dina Kourda, on behalf of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, asks the city’s street maintenance superintendent to place the sign at the site of the crash on Walnut and Yale avenues.

The hundreds of pounds of saltwater fish shut down an Irvine intersection for hours while the mess was cleaned up. The sign would read, “In memory of hundreds of fish who suffered and died at this spot,” to remind tractor-trailer drivers of their responsibility to the animals who are “hauled to their deaths every day,” according to the letter provided by PETA.

“Although such signs are traditionally reserved for human fatalities, I hope you’ll make an exception because of the enormous suffering involved in this case,” the letter read.

Study Shows People That Drink Are Eight-Tenths Smarter Than Your Standard Deviation

October 30, 2012

The next time you’re inclined to enjoy an extra glass of wine, consider that it may be a reflection of your intelligence. That is one of the findings from data from the National Child Development Study in the United Kingdom and the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health in the United States.

Childhood intelligence, measured before the age of 16, was categorized in five cognitive classes, ranging from “very dull,” “dull,” “normal,” “bright” and “very bright.”

More intelligent children in both studies grew up to drink alcohol more frequently and in greater quantities than less intelligent children. In the Brits’ case, “very bright” children grew up to consume nearly eight-tenths of a standard deviation more alcohol than their “very dull” cohorts.

Study indicates drinkers eight-tenths smarter than your standard deviation. And better looking too…Ask the Hoff.

Santa Stopped Smoking Through Revisionist History Here Comes The Weight Lose Plan

October 28, 2012

Santa’s gone cold turkeyalthough he’s still breathing second-hand smoke from those sooty chimneys.

Vancouver, Canada, publisher Grafton and Scratch has released an edited version of Clement Clarke Moore’s 1822 poem, “The Visit From St. Nicholas,” better known as “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.” As you may recall, between a description of a “droll little mouth” and a belly “that shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly,” Moore had described the night visitor with a “stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth/And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.”

No more, thanks to Pamela McColl, an author and former smoker who spent $200,000 to delete that verse in her self-published version.

Revisionist historians stops Santa from smoking. Here comes the weight lose revision. No more bowl full of jellly.

Texas Message To UN Election Observers, Don’t Mess With Texas

October 26, 2012

Texas authorities have threatened to arrest international election observers, prompting a furious response from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

“The threat of criminal sanctions against [international] observers is unacceptable,” Janez Lenarčič, the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), said in a statement. “The United States, like all countries in the OSCE, has an obligation to invite ODIHR observers to observe its elections.”

Hillary Clinton Wants Us To Believe Youtube Video But Not Believe Real Time Facebook Post, Stupid

October 25, 2012

Hillary Clinton has downplayed emails that  suggest the White House knew an Islamic  militant group had claimed credit for the attack on the U.S. consulate in  Benghazi, Libya on September 11 just two hours after it took place.

The dismissal comes after three internal  emails sent by her State Department staff surfaced in which officials specifically mention that Libyan group  Ansar al-Sharia had claimed responsibility.

The Secretary of State said that the group’s  claims of responsibility on Facebook and Twitter were not ‘evidence’ – and that  they had also denied carrying out the attacks in the same time.

Clinton wants us to believe a video on Youtube intiated the attack in Libya, but disregard Facebook posts where terrorists take credit for attack.. Weak
