ABCs Of Why Shampoos Are A Waste Of Money

March 23, 2013

It’s the dirty little secret many shampoo companies don’t want you to know. When you wash your hair with certain traditional shampoos, you may actually be stripping your hair and scalp of their natural oils.

This has resulted in a radically new approach to the way we cleanse our hair.  It’s called WEN® Cleansing Conditioner and it was developed in partnership with the beauty powerhouse Guthy-Renker.  WEN® contains a super-hydrating blend of fig, chamomile, rosemary, calendula, and Cherry bark, which when combined, will both cleanse the hair as well as impart shine and softness, even to damaged hair. WEN® is a 5-in-1 formula that takes the place of your shampoo, conditioner, deep-conditioner, detangler, and leave-in conditioner.

And why this renewed interest in shampoo… ABC

ABCs Of The Latest Ionized Alkalinized Water

March 23, 2013

After so many years of neglect, water appears ready to emerge as a cutting-edge health food. But the latest version is a real head-scratcher: ionized, alkalinized water. Companies such as Chanson, Kangen, and many others are in the game to sell you a gizmo for $1,000 (or $2,000 or $3,000) to run your tap water through. The devices contain electrodes that purport to realign your water, split off some hydrogen atoms along the way, and rid it of various pesky problems so that it will taste better and be healthier and your arthritis will go away. In a week. Maybe two. And why this renewed interest in water..

Smart Alec Baldwin Throws Greyhound Bus Under The Bus And Kills The Holiday Spirit

December 8, 2011

After being kicked off an American Airlines flight for refusing to stop his game of Zynga’s popular Words With Friends mobile application 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin went on a diatribe against the airline and somehow in his crosshairs he also managed to pull the trigger on bus company Greyhound.

Now Greyhound is firing back, albeit while more than a little bit confused as to why they were even targeted in the first place. During his online diatribe Baldwin wrote that the whole ordeal with American Airlines was like a “Greyhound bus experience.”

Firing back almost immediately was a representative for Greyhound who wrote:“I don’t know if he’s ever been on one of our buses (it doesn’t sound like it), but there are about 17.6 million people who travel with us every year who I’m sure wouldn’t share [his] feelings.”

The rep further added:“I don’t know why he’s mentioning Greyhound, but we take pride in our safe and enjoyable service.”

Actor Alec Baldwin Believes Financial Crisis Has Keep O From More Spending

April 7, 2011

CNSNews.com) – Emmy award-winning actor Alec Baldwin told CNSNews.com on Capitol Hill that he believes the financial crisis has “crippled” President Barack Obama, preventing him from doing any “new spending.” Baldwin also said Obama has been doing “a lot” of “back-peddling” because he’s had to spend his whole first term “trying” to correct America’s course financially.

Following his appearance on Capitol Hill at a press conference with Senator Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.) about campaign finance reform, CNSNews.com asked Baldwin if President Obama has lived up to his expectations.

“Well, I mean, I think so because I think that when you come into office and you want to put your mark on things — this is just my opinion, when you want to put your mark on things, you want to be able to spend.

Alec Baldwin Guest Lecture Series,Let BP Die

June 9, 2010

“I wrote in a previous post that a major global oil company would have to go out of business as a sign that we were on the right track regarding effective energy policy reform. Let that company be BP. In the process of being litigated by the government of this country in pursuit of remediating this problem, let BP die. The oil business can only sustain itself through the corruption we now know was (is?) rampant at the Minerals Management Service. Some of those in charge at that agency should be put on trial for treason. Some of the neocons that visits this site will nonetheless defend BP. They’ll say they broke no law. That the government approved everything that went on down there”.

Thanks Alec, but maybe companies should go out of business not for your ”policy” reasons but business reasons…
